What makes GGOL different?

We are an organization that believes in people living a more fulfilling life.

We’re different because we love. Because there is sorrow. Because a senior citizen will be forgotten. Because a nursing home resident does not have family or friends. Because a teenager is being bullied. Because a student is struggling. And because a community is suffering.

"I love all of them because they been giving me career counseling for a long time so I can do well in college....I didn't know what to do in college because no one in my immediate family went to college....when I called them for help they've been there for me through high school and now college... I graduate in May and I can't want to give back to a good organization like this when I start working.

Ebone Carter

"God's gift of love is always there when I don't know how to ask for help...most people don't even thought about the people, like me you know"

Ernestine Josey

"When I don't have my family call or visit me at the home...I know they will be bringing me something for Valentine's day or Christmas... sometimes they just come to talk and it's always nice to know somebody love you.

Ozie Wilbert

"When I had to get my leg amputated I didn't know what I would do about nothing, they maybe sure I got some counseling, and they helped me with some of my finances because I haven't got my disability social security payments approved yet. I just thank God for them".

A Week of Love

We facilitated a week of love event in May. The event involved teaching students and staff the importance of self-love, accepting love, and promoting love. We created a curriculum for the teachers to give to the students to complete work assignment to help them learn ways to love. I also asked some students to express love through dance, art, and music/song.
